Finding markets and reading odds

Odds are usually displayed in decimal format. A comparison of the three common formats is given below:
Example: Team A's odds to win are 3.00 in decimal. With a ৳1,000 stake, if Team A wins, a total of ৳3,000 is returned — ৳2,000 profit and ৳1,000 stake back. If they lose, the full ৳1,000 is gone.
Another example: In a limited-overs cricket match (no draw), Team A's odds are 1.45 and Team B's odds are 2.75. A ৳500 bet on Team B returns ৳1,375 if Team B wins (profit ৳875). If Team A wins, you lose ৳500.
Understanding favourite odds
The favourite team has lower odds because the probability of winning is considered higher. For example, if Team B is the favourite, the odds might be 1.25 in decimal, 1/4 in fractional or −400 in American. A ৳1,000 stake returns ৳1,250 (profit of only ৳250).

Clicking on a market automatically adds it to the bet slip. Entering the stake amount on the slip shows the estimated return. One selection makes a single bet; adding multiple selections creates a multi bet.
In a multi bet, the odds of several selections are multiplied together. For example, three selections at odds of 1.50, 1.80 and 1.90 — the combined odds are 1.50 × 1.80 × 1.90 = 5.13 (approximately). A ৳100 stake returns ৳513 if all selections are correct. But if even one is wrong, the full ৳100 is lost.
